In a move, that many have called, ‘’ground -breaking’ , on February 23rd 2023 , DKT Tanzania launched one of the most awaited products in the market, a misoprostol and Mifepristone combination pill (MM combi pack) under the name of MA-Kare!
The launch was officiated by Minister of health in Zanzibar at Spice Tree hotel, who spoke Infront of Zanzibar broadcasting network (ZBC), the island’s most prominent news channel, among many other media stations present. The launch was preceded by the product training of MA-Kare and MVA which was attended by over 40 medical experts inclusive of nurses, midwives and doctors.
We hope these products will save lives of many Zanzibarian women , Hence the launch of ‘’life saving’’ products like MA Kare and MVA.
